Couldn’t have asked for a better place to have my hernia surgery performed at!
Back on March 5th, 2019, went to Dr. Amshel to have a inguinal hernia surgery done. When he saw me at 1st he thought he couldn’t do it & I would need to come back & have the surgery done at an out patient surgery center. After hearing my dilemma with a friend flying into Tampa who was from Texas & he was going to drive me back home to Jacksonville & watch over me for 10 days after my surgery. He was able to accommodate me & I had the surgery the very next day. I had the surgery done & my friend drove me back the very same day after the surgery.
It has been a little over 2.5 months since my surgery & I could not be more happy. I am back to walking/hiking my 6 miles a day before & after work. And I have regained the energy I once had before the inguinal hernia started to cause me to slow down my every day activities. Matter of fact the day of my surgery I weighed 248 pounds. 2.5 months later after regaining me energy to walk/hike 6 miles a day I am down to 231 pounds.
So thank you Dr. Amshel for your help in getting me back to feeling myself & regaining my energy & life. I didn’t realize how much I was really hurting & missing in life due to my inguinal hernia till it was repaired & how great I am feeling now!
I would definitely recommend Dr. Amsel’s services to others even with the far drive I had to go to get to him over 5 hours away!
